Course content
1. The purpose and the subject of the enactments. 2. The definition of the basic terms of the enactments 3. The regulations connected to waters and the legal character of waters. 4. The water treatment (surface and ground waters, shipping) 5. The licences and references (the change and the cancelation of the licences to certain activities connected with water, the licence to construct hydroengineering structures etc.). 6. The water right evidence. 7. The state of surface and ground waters. 8. The planning connected to waters. 9.The protection of water supplies. 10. Accidents. 11. The water bodies. 12. The drainage area administration. 13. The hydroengineering structures. 14. The flood prevention. 15. Fees. 16. The state administration activities in the water right management. 17. Penalties. 18. Temporary regulations. 19. The final regulations (the force of the legislation)

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
Basic concepts, dealing with waters, permission, statement, consent, water planning and management, water sources protection, water courses, water courses management, water work structures, flood prevention, fees, execution of state administrativ, sanctions.
Basic knowledge in above stated fields.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written test consisting of 15 questions, in case of need supplementary oral exam.
