Course content
1. Definition of basic concepts and principles of project planning. 2. The method of logical framework, project proposals through a logical framework. 3. Options for project submitting under the regional policy instruments at the central administrative level and regional level. 4. Possibilities of submitting projects under the regional policy instruments at the level of regions and cities, and in the context of cross-border cooperation. 5. Resources of development projects financing in the Czech Republic and the European Union. 6. Available software tools for submitting of project applications. Internet applications for submitting of project applications and basic rules when creating a project application. 7. The basic parameters of the feasibility study. Description of the project, alternatives to the project, the target group and their identification. 8. Project management. Market research and marketing mix, territorial marketing. Public support, project financing, project types. 9. Financial and economic evaluation of projects. Cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis and risk elimination.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the construction project applications for various types of regional policy instruments.
In the course students will become project managers of model projectas. As a part of the project, students will work in a real-mode like the current project or the current web interface used for the creation of a project application. Students will be prepared to practice in project management or governing bodies of the current (operational) programs.

Credit requirements: 2 seminar works. Exam: written test form with 20 questions. Markings: excellent - correctly answer min. 16 questions very well - correctly answer 14 to 15 questions well - correctly answer 12 to 13 questions Attendance at exercises is compulsory, optional lecture.
