Learning outcomes
Regional economics II. follows the course Regional Economics I and it deals with the implications of regional policy, the influence of institutional structures, the importance of individual actors, sectors and sectoral policies in the development of regional economies. The students will be informed about endogenous and exogenous resources for regional development of regions, cities, municipalities and economic structures on the example of the Czech Republic. In the frame of course are presented structures of regional policy of the Czech Republic, the European Union and selected member states with examples of the results of these policies related to the restructuring of regional economies and socio-economic environment of the regions.
