1. History of meteorology and climatology, the atmosphere 2. Atmospheric pressure, density, wind 3. Energy and radiation in atmosphere 4. Air temperature and humidity, fogs 5. Clouds 6. Atmospheric precipitation 7. Pressure systems 8. Atmospheric fronts 9. Weather forecasting 10. Meteorological conditions for dispersion of air pollution 11. Influence of meteorological events on environment 12. Measurement and observation in meteorology 13. Basics of climatology and basic climatological characteristics

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
Meteorology: physical properties of atmosphere. Climatology and microclimatology: definition and practical applications. Anthropogenic influence of the atmosphere: possible risks, ways of protection. Meteorology as a scientific discipline, atmosphere, radiation in atmosphere, meteorological elements and effects, definition of terms, instruments and measuring methods, general atmosphere circulation, pressure forms and their characteristics, atmospheric fronts, clouds, rainfall in atmosphere, climate, microclimatology, anthropogenic influence on atmosphere, meteorological conditions influencing spatial dispersion of matters, which pollute atmosphere, diffuse models.
