Course content
1. Concept of disability, illness as a psychological problem. 2. Difference of the development of the handicapped individual. Factors affecting third individual response to illness or disability. 4. Socialization of affected individuals. 5. Principles and specifics of working with handicapped individuals 6. Working with individuals with cerebral palsy 7. Working with individuals with ADHD 8. Abused, neglected and sexually abused child 9. Working with individuals with intellectual disabilities 10. Pervasive developmental disorders and work with individuals with these disorders 11. Working with individuals with neurotic disorders 12. Working with individuals with psychotic disorders 13. Working with individuals with personality disorders 14. Working with affection

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the basic developmental abnormalities and variability of human development in different age categories, with mental health problems resulting from the disability of an individual with basic directions and psychotherapeutic techniques and their applications for individuals with disabilities. Topics marked ztučněným letters be delivered within the contact time.
Specialist knowledge: After completing the course the students are familiar with the issues of disability and react to it, focusing on the different approaches to handicapped individuals are able to capture the variability of individual disability. Specialized skills: Graduate is able to apply optimal access to individuals with disabilities within the appropriate preventative action, even in the context of providing adequate assistance, the responsibility arising from future employability of the students.
