Learning outcomes
The subject is focused on ethic questions of a nursing profession pursuance that include justice, autonomy, truthfulness, faithfulness and honesty. A nursing profession must be based on a professional attitude to a patient. It acquaints with an integration of ethic principles into the Ethic codex and it even touches the ethic dilemmas in manners and behaviour of medical professionals to clients - patients. It takes part in the formation of character qualities and it contributes to freedom of thinking and speech.
Student understands to valuation system ( faith, conviction), which creats bascis for professional behaviour of midwives. They understad to substance of changes in relations of medical profession - clent/patient/ paternalism - partnership/. They are introduced to basic issues - bioethics. They know relations between ethic and law norms. They know importance of obligatory discretion. They know patient's rights for self-determination. They know principles of conveyance the truth to patient. They know basic Ethic codex of nursing.
