Lecture Topics: 1. week: Female reproductive anatomy and physiology 2. week: Planned parenthood, examination methods in GYN - OBST 3. week: Gynaecological inflammations (outer, inner, STD) 4. week: Tumour diseases of a female reproduction system (benign, precancerosis, malign) 5. week: Urogynaecology, gynaecological operation 6. week: Obstetric anatomy, fertilization 7. week: Physiological pregnancy, prenatal care 8. week: Physiological birth and six -week period 9. week: Risky and pathological pregnancy. The pathology of birth and six-week period Seminar Topics: 1. week: System care after a woman, primary and community care after a woman 2. week: Health care after an adolescent and teenage client in children's gynaecological ambulance 3. week: Health care after a woman with genital inflammations 4. week: Health care after a woman with genital tumour 5. week: Health care after a woman undergoing a gynaecological operation 6. week: Health care after a pregnant woman in the system of a prenatal care 7. week: Health care after a woman giving a birth with physiological birth and six-week period 8. week: Health care after a woman with risky and pathological pregnancy 9. week: Health care after a woman with pathological birth and six - week period

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
The subject "NURSING CARE IN GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS is theoretically - practical and introduces the students with the conception of caring after a woman within the whole scale of physiological, risky and pathological states. It is focused on gynaecological and obstetric care being based on the knowledge of other study subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Latin, Health Care, Nursing Procedures?). Nursing process focuses on physiological situations (pregnancy, birth and six-week period) and on pathological states, the process should meet the basic female needs and try to fulfil them.
Subject Knowledge: Student describes female reproduction system; he explains female menstruation cycle; he names basic examination methods used in the field GYN-OBST. Student provides consultations for a woman before an expected gynaecological operation; he evaluates the course of physiological pregnancy, the birth and six -week period. Professional Skills: Student evaluates physical examination of a woman's current state in a gynaecological ambulance; he realizes nursing process for a woman undergoing gynaecological operation; he creates educational plan for a pregnant woman about the changes in life regime; he can advise on breast feeding.
