Learning outcomes
The subject introduces the basics of biophysics and its application in midwifery, medical diagnostic and treatment methods. Students will get basic information about physical differences of individual methods and their biological effects. Students will know the types of these methods and devices which are used for the examination. The other parts of the subject cover the basics of ultrasound diagnostics as the first choice examination method in gynaecology and obstetrics.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows basic terminology, the facts and the basics of biophysical processes in human organism. Professional Skills: Student is able to explain selected processes in human organism from the biophysical point of view and he can describe the principles of physical devices functioning in clinical training.
