Course content
1. Impact of surrounding on entrepreneurship. Targets of entrepreneurship. Development of opinions on primary goals. Selection of a legal form, advantages and disadvantages of individual legal forms. 2. Assets and capital construction of a company, tangible and floating assets, capital structure of a firm. 3. Accounting balance and its reporting ability. Deciding between the intrinsic, extraneous, long and short term capital. Financial tool and tax effect. 4. Optimal capital structure. Depreciation of tangible assets, linear and accelerated depreciation and its characteristics. 5. Strategy of a firm, basic method of strategic management. 6. Revenues, expenditures, economic result. Profit and its categories. 7. Analysis of a break point. 8. Statement of profits and losses and its reporting ability. 9. Cash flow statement and its reporting ability. 10.Principles of cost calculation. 11.Price and methods for its creation. Management of liabilities. Problematics of escont prices. 12.Stocks and their management. 13.Production activity of a firm. Production function, optimal structure of production. 14.Investment activities of firms. Enterprise escont rate, calculation of the present value. Methods of appreciation of investments. Comparison of investment variants. Risk and its evaluation on investment decision-making.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
This optional course develops the course of Corporate economics. The aim is to make students acquainted with basic prerequisites for entrepreneurship, to deepen the knowledge of corporate economics, to practice theoretical knowledge with practical application on concrete examples in the sphere of management, (including financial management). Attention will be paid to entrepreneurial projects and decision-making processes.
