1. A firm as a part of the national economy, genesis, objectives and segmentation. 2. Establishing and development of firms, types and forms, legal definition, forms of entrepreneurship, business companies, cooperatives, licenses and licensed entrepreneurship. 3. Property and capital construction of a firm, investment and floating assets, capital structure of a firm 4. Organization of a firm, elements and forms, process organization 5. Strategy of a firm, analysis of strong and week points, formulation of strategic goals, strategy and management of firms 6. Revenues, costs, economic result, sales, expenditures, profit, loss, analysis of a breakpoint 7. Prices, quoting the price of a new product, targets of a firm and price policy, analysis of prices, price changes 8. Marketing, marketing conception and strategy, organization of marketing structures in a firm, marketing mix 9. Supplying, organization and management of stock, optimalization of stock 10. Production activity of a firm, optimal structure of production, production capacity 11. Technical development and innovation processes, preparation and realization of new products, quality of products, innovations, effectiveness of innovations 12. Sale, distribution and channels of distribution, methods of sales 13. Investment activities of a firm, types of investments, estimate of future revenues and risks, cost of investments, effectiveness of investments, methods of its evaluation 14. Financial management of a firm, corporate finance, ways and methods of financing, financial analyses. Mergers and destruction of a firm, concentration, fusion, joint ventures, crises development, sanitation.

Learning outcomes
Corporate economics is a key economic subject. It develops macro- and microeconomic studies. It deals with construction, functioning and organisational structure of a firm, characteristics of basic activities, capital and assets structure, financial management and economy, problematics of appreciation, association, saving and disappearance of a firm. Corporate economics is the basis for other courses such as Corporate management, Strategic management a.s.o.
