Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
This discipline deals with the history of buildings. Time interval: from the beginning of early Christian period to the end of Gothic period. It is mapping both the Czech republic and western and central Europe.
Students of the course are competent to recognize different building types and construction development of residences. Building types are classified from the perspective of building technologies, dispositional development along with their art expression. Lectures inform about the main features of the whole range of residences and building types.
