Learning outcomes
The course if focused on presentation of basic information about social geography, its position in geographical science and methods of research. It makes clear the basic terms, principles of distribution of socio-geographic phenomena and relations inside the socio-geographic systems. Theoretic problems solved by the course are the socio-geographic regionalization (nodes v. periphery) and recognition of hierarchical systems. The important part of the course is represented by improvement of practical skills.
