Course content
1. Models of socio-economic space. 2. Social state, third sector and civil self-governing sector. 3. Public sector, finances and services. 4. Territorial self-governance. Non-state and non-governmental non-profit organizations. 5. Border and mixed organizations, non-profit participation in the market. 6. Interest associations of people - member principle. 7. Interest associations of property (and people and property). 8. Non-profit economics and sources for its financing. 9. Specificities of decision making and management. 10. Accounting and tax specificities, public control. 11. Fundraising, volunteering, charity, self-help and mutual support. 12. Solidarity systems and nets, social mix. Programmed financing. 13. Case studies and examples of good practice.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces the issue of non-profit organizations such as operators of established for purposes other than profit. Familiarizes students with the role, the economic activities of each type of non-profit organizations, civic and public sectors and their overlap in the market and the sources of their funding.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Differentiate between different types NPO - Orientation in the field of financing NPO - Understand the purpose of the establishment of individual NPO
