Learning outcomes
One-semester course of history of world photography, cinematography, and new media. Special attention is given to philosophical, optical, mechanical, and chemical aspects of the development, but also to the mutual link of the mentioned disciplines and their connection with social, political, and economic development in the 19th. 20th, and 21st centuries. The course will be as well focused on the relation between technical media and other forms of visual art. The line of the course focuses on the period of transforming various modifications of technical media from a handcrafted product into a structured, all-society phenomenon of an industrial character.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
