Learning outcomes
The basic aim of this seminar is to master the photographic process as a necessary condition of successful realization of a photographer's intention. The training should help reaching a professional level when working out the assigned theme of the final work. The students will get acquainted with physical and chemical processes in photography, with negative and positive material, their properties, and processing methods. The training will include work with a large format camera, principles of digital photography, practical exponometry, zonal system, bases of optics, and basic principles of lighting, including work with studio illuminating technologies. The students are supposed to visit a professional laboratory and a photographic studio.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
