Learning outcomes
This optional course in English language analyses both the language and comprehension of English speaking media environment. Participants are supposed to understand and analyse a selected topic. The twelve standalone units cover topics common to range of media-related fields, including newspapers, radio, TV, film and advertising. Authentic activities based on everyday work scenarios such as producing and editing for print, radio and green make the course practical and motivating. The course concludes with a written test and colloquy and ECTS credits. Students can enrol when the course is offered.
Students will improve the communication skills and specialist language knowledge of media issues, the course enables them to work more confidently and effectively.
