Learning outcomes
The subject is a practical exercise in school institutions and free time centres of non-profit organizations including children from socially excluded areas (SEA). The course graduate will flexibly apply various approaches and use different methods in direct work with children and with respect to education, special educational needs and problematic socio-cultural background.
The course graduate is able to analyze basic educational problems connected with pedagogical practice with children from families endangered by social exclusion. He/she masters basic interventional methods in practice, is well-informed about the problematic of social and pedagogical work, is able to carry out his/her own pedagogical assistance independently and actively under the supervision of the pedagogues of his practice. The graduate is able to analyze individual situation factors directly and reflect them in practice. He/she masters the basics of inclusive work methods, their evaluation, and aptly applies them during his/her work with children and their families.
Access to the course is denied to the students in the last year of their study.

Assessment methods and criteria
80% attendance at the meetings, practice in school institutions, presentation and debate over the practice portfolio.
