Key learning outcomes A graduate from Photography and Time-Based Media post-Bachelor (Master's) programme will be ready to become an independently creating artistic individuality who in their work reflects inner questions of human being. As well, they will be prepared to react to serious social issues by means of their work. Further to their previous education, the graduate will develop the skills acquired while studying at the bachelor's degree, both in analogue photography and in work with digital devices and intermedia technologies for a wide range of multimedia production, so that they are able to anticipate the constantly developing technologies of creation and final presentations. Besides their own author's production, the graduate will be ready to become a pedagogue at artistic colleges, an art director of design studios at publishing houses or editorships, of both public and private institutions, and will be able to create visual and/or intermedia communication on the level of common comprehensibility, and thus participate in developing visual culture of the society. Goals of the study in the Photography and Time-Based Media Post-Bachelor (Master's) programme are determined by the graduate's profile. This means that the study especially focuses on developing the author's personality of the graduate and their ability to express both artistic and civic attitudes to important social topics via their work and thus, among other things, influence the visual culture of the society. Conception of the study emphasizes the graduate's readiness for programmed artistic activity relying not only on professional skills and knowledge of the whole wide range of photographic creation and related disciplines of modern mechanical media, butal soon the essential need to base their work on previous theoretical study and critical analysis.
