Key learning outcomes
he goal of the study program is to equip students with elementary knowledge from the school management theory in the management context of the EU system, introduce students to the law and economic principles and regulations and their impact on regional schools in Czech Republic, and provide students with psychological base for self-reflecting skills of the administration employees. The goal is also to support the practical skill development in the leadership, strategic and conceptual thinking area. Three year bachelor study program of school management is concerted in the way for graduates to be equipped with professional theoretical and practical knowledge and skills necessary for effective performance in the school management area. Output professional knowledge and skills " Graduates of the study program school management are equipped with the knowledge of laws and regulations connected to the school principle position, students are able to orientate in financial management and administration, effective money source manipulation, students are also introduced to the principles of education policy, and they understand the pragmatic and philosophical dimension of their selected specialization. Students are also equipped with knowledge suitable for effective school management, auto-evaluation skills and school work quality administration. Students can use various software applications used for the school or institution administration " Mentioned professional skills are a precondition for their purposed application in practice inside a school institution to help solve conceptual and strategic issues. Graduates are able to concept their management visions, strategies and goals and they are able to structure priorities and values, plan individual activities of strategy, task objectification, decision making, administration and activity control. Students are capable of using human typologies to properly govern and divide competence and responsibilities in their work area. Students are able to analyze and solve problems in the process, gain necessary information and therefore are able to choose a proper process alternative within the problematic situation. Students are able to conceptualize the school or institutional development, present their results, develop their relation towards the general public and therefore create a positive image of a selected institution. Personal and social competences are built on graduate's knowledge of communication process rules and skills towards conflict solving, motivation, evaluation and assessing their future employees. A potential graduate will be able to ally planning and restriction principles to be able to minimalize time losses within the work process, graduates are also equipped with stress managing techniques, they are able to apply individual management styles based on the group of employee they have to govern. Students are able to reflect their work and eliminate any mistakes during the process. Graduates are also able to administrate any team work on the work place. Other possible uses of future graduates on the work market: Graduates are able to find their use as managers or administrators of various school institutions and other educational institutions within Czech Republic. The study program is suitable for advanced or intermediate level of management - meaning that graduates can work as educational counsellors, dormitory administrators, other institutional administrators etc.
