Learning outcomes
In the second half of the 20th century the symbol and it´s multi-layered relationship to a reality becomes one of the most important topics in a series of social sciences - psychoanalysis, aesthetics, philosophy of language, semiotics, ethnology, religious studies, studying myths etc. The lecture is going through a different theoretical concepts and disciplines and providing the basic information about their methods. The main aim of subject is a continental thinking of the Constance School of Reception Aesthetics (Iser, Jauss ...).
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
