Learning outcomes
Course starts with presentation of gestic abstraction, informel (the existential turn, the sudden change in conception and expression form), it continues with presentation of pop-art, new realism, op-art, and kinetic art. Another block of the course starts with action art and the Fluxus movement, which goes on to conceptual art, minimal-art, and the Arte povera movement. At the end, as part of a postmodern analysis, the course comes to multimedia projections, electronic art, and new interactive media. The aim of the course is to show the multifariousness of the 20th-century art, and to make students analyze individual periods in contexts, see contemporary art as a logical and natural outcome of social, cultural, and political aspects of the epoch.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
